Midco Sports, the University of South Dakota and Coyote Sports Properties Extend Broadcast and Sponsorship Partnership

June 25, 2026 – Sioux Falls, S.D. / Vermillion, S.D.: Coyote fans can look forward to seeing more of their favorite teams, more often.

Midco Sports and the University of South Dakota today announced an extension of their Broadcast and Sponsorship Agreements, continuing a valued partnership that brings high-quality coverage of USD Athletics to viewers across the region and beyond.

The agreement ensures broad coverage of USD Athletics across Midco’s platforms while strengthening Midco’s role as the exclusive telecommunications sponsor of the Coyotes.

“USD Athletics means a lot to folks across South Dakota and around the region,” said Andy Price, Vice President of Midco Sports. “We’re proud to keep this partnership going – not only as a longtime broadcast partner, but also as the exclusive telecommunications sponsor of the Coyotes. It’s an exciting opportunity to keep sharing the stories of Coyote student-athletes and bring fans the kind of coverage and connection that makes them feel right there in the middle of it.”

The extended agreement reinforces Midco Sports’ role as a key broadcast and storytelling partner for USD Athletics, with continued production and distribution of live athletic events through Midco Sports and Midco Sports Plus.

A trusted broadcast partner since 2012, Midco Sports will continue producing and airing a wide range of USD athletic events, including marquee matchups and sports coverage, while expanding on-demand and original content that highlights the student-athlete experience and the broader USD community.

“I am so grateful for our continued partnership with Midco,” said South Dakota Athletic Director Jon Schemmel. “They have been a critical partner for Coyote Athletics since we transitioned to Division I, and our interests continue to align. We are excited to extend our partnership with them and to bring as many Coyote Athletics events through Midco as possible to Coyote Nation.”

In addition to game broadcasts, the partnership strengthens Midco’s role as the exclusive telecommunications sponsor, creating more opportunities to engage fans through in-venue experiences, digital activations and integrated media across USD Athletics. It also reinforces both organizations’ shared commitment to regional engagement and community pride.

Coyote Sports Properties, a Learfield property, will continue to serve as USD’s multimedia rights holder. CSP manages signage, sponsorships, radio programming and the Coyote Radio Network, helping connect fans and partners to the energy of Coyote Athletics.

Together, USD, Coyote Sports Properties and Midco Sports will continue to elevate the reach, visibility and impact of Coyote Athletics across the region, helping ensure fans never miss a moment.
