Bob Nielson and the South Dakota Coyotes are set to kick off the 2017 season Saturday night (Sept. 2), in Des Moines, against Drake. The Bulldogs finished 7-4 last season, which included a 6-2 mark in the Pioneer Football League. Kickoff at Drake Stadium is set for 6 PM CT.

Series Notes

• Drake leads the all-time series 11-7.
• Coyotes have won the last three, all in Vermillion, including a 52-0 romp in 2015. 
• This will be USD's first trip to Drake since 1971.
• The Coyotes last win in Des Moines came all the way back in 1967.
