Midco Sports Selected to Power NSIC Network

January 5, 2026 – Sioux Falls, SD: The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and Midco Sports have expanded their partnership by providing fans with a direct-to-consumer digital network experience. Midco Sports will power the NSIC Network and serve as the centralized home for NSIC digital content, offering exclusive live and on-demand streaming coverage of all 16 member institutions beginning in the fall of 2026.

Through a monthly subscription, NSIC Network broadcasts on Midco Sports Plus will include all home regular season conference and non-conference contests for the sports of football, volleyball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, wrestling, softball and baseball. Production for NSIC Network broadcasts will be the responsibility of the home institution. Other streamed events will be featured on the network in front of the paywall.

NSIC championships will also be streamed on Midco Sports Plus.

“We are thrilled to announce this partnership with Midco Sports Plus, which is built on a long-standing relationship rooted in trust and a shared commitment to telling the stories of our 16 member institutions and the student athletes they serve,” said NSIC Commissioner Erin Lind. “Midco will walk alongside our member institutions in the digital space to create a comprehensive streaming platform for NSIC content that connects our loyal supporters and fans across the region, the nation and around the world.”

The NSIC Network powered by Midco Sports Plus will be available through mobile and tablet apps (iOS and Android), connected TV device apps (Apple TV, Fire TV and Roku) and a browser-based web platform.

“This is an exciting new opportunity for the NSIC. Our 16 institutions will be working with a familiar partner in Midco Sports,” said Wayne State College President Dr. Marysz Rames. “The expertise that Midco Sports brings to this relationship will be invaluable as we make the transition into this digital space. I look forward to working with Midco Sports and am confident that the partnership will create an excellent experience for our students, families, donors, friends and campus community.”

“Midco has been an outstanding partner, delivering consistent quality, reliability and exceptional customer service,” said Minnesota State University, Mankato Director of Athletics Kevin Buisman. “Our experiences with Midco through the CCHA men’s hockey and the NSIC Basketball Tournament have been overwhelmingly positive. Their professional and collaborative approach elevates the fan experience and enhances the visibility of our programs. Midco has proven to be more than a vendor, but a true partner.”

“We are excited to welcome the NSIC and its member schools to their new streaming home on Midco Sports Plus,” said Jeannie Thurston, Senior VP of Marketing and Sports at Midco. “Our partnership with the NSIC has always been focused on supporting communities and showcasing the exceptional student athletes who represent them. From our extensive coverage of the men's and women's basketball tournaments to this expanded streaming commitment, we are proud to elevate collegiate sports, fostering pride and bringing families, alumni and fans closer to the teams they love. We look forward to strengthening this relationship and celebrating the NSIC together with our Midco Sports and Midco Sports Plus fans.”
