The University of Sioux Falls men’s basketball team saw it’s seven-game winning streak come to an end in unexpected fashion this past weekend. The Cougars lost to Minot State in the final seconds and had to endure the sting of that loss on the long bus ride back to Sioux Falls.
On the latest episode of ‘Cougar Chronicle,’ Midco Sports Network’s David Brown and USF men’s head coach Chris Johnson discuss the road trip and the ultimate feeling after getting back. They analyze the win on Friday night over UMary before putting the Saturday loss to Minot State in its proper context. Coach Johnson also breaks down the final play of the Minot State game and what went wrong for his defense.
On a lighter note, the two big Minnesota Twins fans also discuss the recent signing of former MVP Josh Donaldson and what that means for the Twins’ prospects in the 2020 season.
