Official practice has started for our local college hoops teams, media days are happening left and right, and it snowed last week. Yep, it’s basketball season in my mind (don’t worry, football, it’s still your season, too).

And with that, I wanted to take an early look at our Summit League teams ON PAPER (read that again, “ON PAPER”) to get a feel for what teams are bringing into the 2019-2020 season.

Now, read that last sentence again. ON PAPER. This “early scouting report” is mostly crunched numbers. It’s not talking about the impact of players returning from injury, transfers, incoming freshmen, and new coaches – which we all know can (and will) ultimately have a much larger impact than any of the numbers below. (But hey, potential podcast topic in the future? The “not on paper” scouting report?)
