Man of Steele, Voice of Genius

Dave Steele works out of the basement in his house in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and that is the way he always wanted it.

He is a national voice talent who started in radio at the age of 15 and got into voice-over and promotion work in college at Kansas State University by mimicking a credit card commercial that became a huge success for a local bar.

Steele talks about being the voice of Bud Light’s “Real Internet Heroes of Genius” campaign – that follows up on the “Real Men of Genius” campaign from the 1990s – and his work for a country music radio station in the Netherlands that loves his “big American voice.”

We also touch on the power of persuasion, the societal dangers of Snapchat filters and Dave’s forays into engineering, fire fighting and homeland security.
