This edition of Greg's Best Guess marks the half-way point of our conference tournament predictions. Today we look at two leagues that tip-off on Monday - the MAC and the MEAC. Enjoy!

MAC Tournament

This is another tournament bracket that can get messy in a hurry. Yes, there's teams seeded from 1 to 12, but the difference from the top to the bottom isn't as great as you might think. This is another conference that is balanced, and lots of teams have potential to make a run. That can make it seem easy to run wild with upsets, but a lot of times the cream rises to the top. I think ultimately that will be the case here. While a cinderella could make a charge, I still think it will come down to #1 vs. #2. Buffalo and Toledo have not met since the first conference game of the year, and while Buffalo knocked off Toledo by 10 in that one, I think the Rockets will get some revenge in the conference title game.

MEAC Tournament

Defense is OPTIONAL in this league which makes it very entertaining and very wide open. Three teams tied with a top record of 12-4 (Hampton, Bethune-Cookman, and Savannah State). I'm going with Savannah State simply because they can outscore anyone when they hit the floor. Savannah State had a stretch earlier this season in which they scored more than 100 points in 6 of 7 games. Sometimes that offense comes at the expense of their defense (Hampton scored 121 against them this season), but the thrill of hitting the century mark makes Savannah State intriguing enough to pick to go to the big dance.

Up Next: Three tournaments get underway on Tuesday. Tomorrow we take a look at the ACC, the Big Sky, and the SWAC.
