There's plenty more to come, but only one tournament tips-off on Friday, and that's the Horizon League. Read on for the predictions.
Horizon League Tournament
Northern Kentucky won this tournament last year in its first year of NCAA Tournament eligibilty. I like the Norse to repeat as they have once again risen to the top of the conference standings and have the experience necessary to run the table again. UIC is a threat as the Flames put together a lenghty winning streak earlier in the season, but I don't think they'll have enough to get the complete job done. Local readers will recognize IUPUI from the Summit League as they embark on their first taste of the Horizon League Tournament experience. I think the Jaguars will win their opener before falling to the top seed Norse. Another local tie is former South Dakota State Head Coach, Scott Nagy, now in his 2nd year at Wright State. Nagy's squad enters as the #2 seed, but stability down the stretch leaves concern for a deep run in this year's tournament.
Up Next: Three tournaments get going on Saturday including America East, Colonial, and the much anticipated Summit League tournament. Full predicions will be released tomorrow (3/2).
