New High school baseball power rankings as of April 19, 2017 according to Varsity Sports
In Class A baseball, things are holding pretty steady at the top. Dickinson is off to a 7-1 start, including a big sweep over Century last week. West Fargo stays put at number two with a 5-1 record against EDC teams. Positions 3 thru 5 get tricky for me, but these teams will sort things out themselves over the next few weeks. Fargo North is on the bubble after sweeping Davies to open the year and knocking the Eagles out of the top five.

Brandon Valley is proving me wrong. I didn't have them in the pre-season power rankings and they're making me look silly. They have been solid at the plate and may have the top overall pitching staff in the state with Mitch Hoover and Payton Livingston leading the way.
