South Dakota's historic start has included a number of big moments, but none of them has been bigger than the 29-yard game-winning field goal Ryan Weese delivered last week against then-No.3 Youngstown State.
Not only did that kick push the Coyotes to 5-0 for the first time in the Divison I era, it also lifted them to their highest ranking since 1987.
This week, Bob Nielson's team will face a very different kind of challenge in Indiana State. The Sycamores (0-5, 0-2 MVFC) are the only winless team in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, but, as we all know very well, there is no such thing as a guaranteed win in this league.
