It's been a while - 11 years to be exact - since South Dakota has started a football season 3-0.

That streak, as you all know, came to an end with last week's 45-7 drubbing of then-No.10 North Dakota. But as impressive as that performance and the rest of rest of the non-conference run has been, it is just the beginning.

Bob Nielson's team now turns its focus to the Missouri Valley Football Conference schedule, which starts for the Coyotes on Sept. 30 at Western Illinois.
