CLASS A Baseball
No question Roosevelt at 20-0 has had the best season so far but how about Pierre? They make the jump to number two after bumping their record up to 8-0. They won four games last week and Spencer Sarringar hit two homers over the weekend while their pitching staff stifled Harrisburg in their double header. The Govs are looking good. Brookings dropped one to Rapid City Stevens and another to Roosevelt, but remains one of the top teams and then you have Mitchell lurking, they've had some close games but their 13-3 record speaks for itself, they are a tough team to beat. Brandon Valley hangs on to that fifth spot, they've had a very tough schedule and competed in some tough games.

CLASS B Baseball
Dakota Valley had their game against Vermillion postponed so they stay at number one, but Lennox with their big comeback win against Sioux Falls Christian stays at number two, they have another test coming on Saturday when they host unbeaten McCook central. Winner has yet to lose a class B game and they are at number three with a road game against St. Thomas More. Dells and McCook keep the top five the same as last week as well. There are still a lot of good teams in this class who aren't ranked. Watch out for Sioux Valley, West Central, SF Christian, Bon Homme and St. Thomas More as the playoffs approach.
