It's suddenly a three game season for South Dakota.
The Coyotes (4-4, 3-2 MVFC), coming off last week's heartbreaking loss to Western Illinois, will be playing for their playoff lives - not to mention their hopes for at least a share of the MVFC championship - from this point forward.
No one really knows what will be enough in the eyes of the FCS Playoff selection committee, but Bob Nielson's team would like to keep control of its own destiny. The only way to do that is to win all of its remaining games.
The first of those comes Saturday at Southern Illinois (2-6, 0-5 MVFC).
