HS Volleyball Power Rankings

SOUTH DAKOTA

Class AA

1. Harrisburg 11-1   Can't say enough about their talent, big win on Tuesday at Roosevelt's home gym.
2. Roosevelt 10-3   Got through a tough schdedule with only one loss in the last week.
3. Huron  6-2     Jayda Schillingstad played big in a sweep over Yankton, also beat Mitchell and a resurgent Aberdeen Central in the last week.
4. SF O'Gorman 6-2 quietly won six in a row after dropping their first two. Rylee Smith is a leader.
5. RC Stevens 12-2, lost to Roosevelt and O'Gorman but remain a strong contender in the rankings.

 

NORTH DAKOTA

Class A

1. Bismarck Century  12-1   The Patriots have yet to lose a set in the WDA. They continue to be the gold standard in the West and the state.
2. Grand Forks Red River   11-3 

Maggie Steffen had 12 kills and Maddie Anderson had 8 kills in the impressive three set win over West Fargo last Thursday then added Steffen added 15 and Anderson 14 more on Tuesday against Davies. These two are getting their hits down and it can be devastating for opponents. Maddie Johnson has been a digging machine this year for the Riders.


3. WF Sheyenne     11-3  Tuesday Kalli Hegerle recorded 11 kills, 11 digs, 12 assists, six aces and 1 block in the win against DL
4. Fargo Shanley      11-3 Still have Emily Dietz and Kaylie CON-wisher and Caira Berg and Julia Vetter who have been outstanding.
5. Legacy  9-3   with a big win Tuesday against BHS. Whitney Thomas led the way with 11 kills and Hannah Riehl was also in double digits in the 3 set sweep on the road.
