Each year families plan trips to Disneyland in California and to Disneyworld in Florida.

If you live in the state of South Dakota that means you are equally as far away from either destination (over 1,600 miles to be exact).

However, if you live close to Sioux Falls, you’re closer to an “amusement park” type destination than you think.

The Sanford Sports Complex is made up of four giant facilities geared toward athletics. Once you arrive, you may wonder where the fun attractions and rollercoasters are, but some would suggest that sports and competition can take you on the ride of a lifetime.

You can schedule tennis matches, join football or basketball leagues, try out ice skating, or find a trainer to help bring out your competitiveness. Whatever you choose you’ll find a range of fun activities to take part in this summer at the Sanford Sports Complex.
