QUICK RECAP FROM BOZEMAN

Greetings from the Bozeman International Airport! While we're all waiting for our plane, here's a quick recap of a wild game between the Jacks and the Bobcats.

In short, Zach Zenner was ridiculous and SDSU outlasted Montana State 47-40. Zenner accounted for 324 all-purpose yards and 5 touchdowns (a career-high). All of this, of course, happened in one of the snowiest, coldest games anyone can ever remember. The game-time temperature was 1 degree, which set the mark for coldest game ever in Bozeman. The snow was persistent throughout the contest and afterward, players and coaches from SDSU said it was "Jackrabbit weather."

Regardless, it's a 3rd straight 1st round victory in the FCS playoffs for the Jacks. Up next, of course, is North Dakota State in the Fargodome. You can bet these players and coaches are chomping at the bit for another shot at the Bison. SDSU lost 37-17 in Fargo back on November 1 (where the final score didn't really indicate how close the contest actually was).

We'll have plenty more on Jackrabbit Journal on Wednesday at 8 pm, only on Midco Sports Network, and later in the week on MidcoSN.com
