GRAND FORKS, N.D. – With the season opener just over a week away, University of North Dakota fans will have the opportunity to meet their 2014 football team this Thursday, Aug. 21st, at the 3rd annual UND Football Fan Fest presented by Midco Sports Network.
The event, which is free to the public, takes place from 7 to 8 p.m. at Memorial Stadium on the UND campus (2nd Ave. N & Columbia Road). All UND players and coaches will be available to sign autographs and fans will also have their first chance to receive a 2014 North Dakota football poster, as well as spin the prize wheel for giveaways courtesy of Midco Sports Network. Free pizza and drinks will be available to approximately the first 500 fans through the doors courtesy of Midco Sports Network. In addition, fans can pick up a “North Dakota Proud” yard sign and kids can register for the Jr. Champions.
Fans may park free of charge in the lots directly west and north of Memorial Stadium.
UND Football opens the season on the road on Thursday, August 28th at San Jose State (9 pm). The home opener is set for September 6th as UND will take on Robert Morris in the 49th Annual Potato Bowl USA. Kick-off is set for 6 pm at the Alerus Center.
