Just days after the Atlanta Falcons made former South Dakota linebacker Tyler Starr a seventh round draft pick, another team has come calling for one of Starr's former coaches.

Coyotes defensive line coach Marquice Williams is headed to the Chicago Bears as part of the Bill Walsh NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship.

The program's objective is to use NFL Clubs’ training camps, offseason workout program and minicamps to give talented minority coaches opportunities to:

• Observe
• Participate
• Gain Experience
• Ultimately gain a full-time NFL coaching position

Williams will actively participate in the Bears' Organized Teams Activities from May 26-June 6, assisting coaches with defense and special teams. He will, again, work closely with Bears assistant head coach and special teams coordinator Joe DeCamillis.

"I'm very excited to gain knowledge and coaching styles from them to bring back for our guys," Williams said via text message.

Williams will be entering his third season with the Coyotes. He served as outside linebackers coach in 2012, and was promoted to defensive line coach before last season. He has also held assistant coaching positions at Central Oklahoma (2011) and Winona State (2010).
