SD Class A
1. Roosevelt Five starters back including Josh Baumgart on the mound.
2. Brandon Valley Jake Adams, Nic Peterson, and Lucas Lunstra all back in the lineup … Pitching is the question Peterson and Bauske could be the answer
3. Mitchell Great start to the season, young hitters decent pitching depth.
4. O’Gorman Always a threat in Class A, this year they have pitching potential
5. Brookings Thomas McMacken is one of the best hitters in the state, pitching and defense are very solid this year.
SD Class B
1. St. Thomas More Strengths- Pitching, Defense, Aggressive Base-running and Timely hitting. Weakness- New starting pitchers, new middle infield and new players
2. Bon Homme Return five starters and their players are coming off 3 consecutive State A Teener titles. We will have some speed and some arms that can throw we just have to develop them into "pitchers". Returning starters are :
Chase Kortan - SS
Austin Kaul - 3B
Scott Wieseler - LF
Mike Mesman - 1B
Hunter Young - 2B / RF
3. Parkston Three outstanding talents in Jake Weber, Zach Scott and Spencer Lucas
4. Vermillion

ND Class A
1. Minot Great pitching, true power hitting.
2. Bismarck Brandon Geiszler, Quinn Irey, and Kole Bauer lead an experienced group.
3. Red River Lost some good pitching but Collin Hennessey and Brady Regimbal have been good hitters, Riders should be strong.
4. Dickinson Dylan Skabo hit .373 last year and could be one of the top players in the state this year.
5. Shanley Defending champs lost some great pitchers but Jake Salentine is back to lead the staff
ND Class B
1. Bishop Ryan
2. Grafton
3. Shiloh Christian 4-0 big wins over Central McLean, Thompson and a good Central Cass Team. Young team but has gained experience
4. Hazen
5. Thompson
Softball ND A
1. West Fargo Head Coach Pat JOHNSON has a young group led by power pitcher Brittany Rheault and catcher Michaela Liebl to try to compete for their 17th straight title.
2. Bishop Ryan This team has the best shot to break West Fargo's hold on ND Softball. Hannah Stewart may be the best pitcher in the state paired with Maddie Lipp at catcher.
3. Dickinson Most seniors in the state led by pitcher Haley Butterfield.
4. Valley City Swept Bismarck to open the season and feature Dierra Diegel an All-State selection who batted .459 last year with 4HR.
5. Century A couple of early season losses won't set the Pats back. Cassidy Miller and Kaitly Feist lead a strong group of players.
ND B Softball
1. Central Cass - Sierra Amundson posted a 1.61 ERA last season and has received both all-state and all-region honors over the last two seasons. This year she's coming off of "Tommy John" surgery and is trying to pitch with both arms... stay tuned.
