ND Boys A
1. St. Mary
2. Century
3. Fargo Davies
4. West Fargo
5. Wahpeton
St. Mary returns their core group from a 20-4 team last year, highlighted by senior Ben Weisbeck. They’ll have a new head coach in Brent DeKok. Bismarck Century with Tyler Rudolph will also be tough in the WDA. The EDC is pretty wide open but Fargo Davies is my front runner with their electric backcourt of Tanner Kretchman and Andrew Kozlowski.
ND Boys B
1. Milnor
2. Four Winds
3. Des Lacs-Burlington
4. Cavalier
5. Linton-HMB
The defending champs (Milnor) and the runner-ups Four Winds Minnewaukan look to be the favorites again this year. Milnor features Britton Bussman 24.8 ppg, 7.6 rpg, and Wyatt Mund (17.4ppg 10.7rpg) while Four Winds have Trayvon McKay (14.2 ppg) and Hadley Smith running the court.
ND Girls A
1. Century
2. Fargo Shanley
3. Bismarck
4. West Fargo
5. Jamestown
The two-time defending champs return two of their top three scorers. The Century Patriots start the season once again on top while the rest of the state tries to knock them off. Fargo Shanley should have some power with All-State sophomore Sarah Jacobson and senior Alivia Fraase leading an inexperienced team.
