Game of the week: Central Cass at Fargo Shanley

The Deacons got just 9 yards passing last week from their high-octane offense due to rainy and wet conditions, but their defense saved the day with a shutout 13-0 against Wahpeton. Central Cass has been playing their best ball of the season, last week they rolled over Grafton 28-2 on a field with rough conditions. Last season Central Cass brought a 2-3 record into the Shanley game and beat the Deacons 32-20. The Squirrels will try to do the same entering with an even 3-3 mark.

Game of the week: Divide County at TGU

Two dynamic quarterbacks will take the field Friday night. TGU's Eli Luna has a  134 Passer Rating as well as 17TDs, and has run for 480 yds and 9TDs.  Colter Thorp has been the top target with 497 yds receiving. He has caught  7TDs. Last season TGU lost to Divide County in the semis for the right to advance to the Dakota Bowl 30-14. Divide County brings their ace playmaker, QB Isaac Jacobs. He is a dual threat but mostly runs the ball. He's compiled  751 Rush yards and 10TDs. The Maroons average 297.7 ypg. Their only loss came to St. John on the road on August 31st, but have been dominant since then.
