SD Class B
1. Vermillion 7-1
The Tanagers are unbeaten in Class B. They are 5-0 in district play. Peter Haught had a two hit game against Bon Homme to help the Tanagers get an extra inning win. Ty Iverson,
2. St. Thomas More 5-1
The Cavaliers are also unbeaten in Class B, they capped off a nice week against Bennett County and Winner. Landon Kudrna, Caden Skinner, Lincoln Feist, and AJ Schaefbauer have sparked a strong offense. They scored 25 runs against Hot Springs earlier in the week.
3. Madison 5-0
Jacob Leighton is 6/10 w 2 doubles and a 0.64 ERA 23 K 3 BB, The team is hitting .303 and have outscored opponents 40-11 so far.
4. Garretson 5-0
The Blue Dragons are on a roll they cruised to a 6-0 win over Tri-Valley, and a 4-2 win over West Central, and a 10-3 win over Dells. Patrick Whetham is off to a great start at 5/9 w 3 2Bs he also has pitched well with a 1-0 1.00 ERA in 7 innings with 13 Ks.
5. Bon Homme 3-2
Bon Homme/Scotland has already dropped two games but they aren’t anything to sneeze at. They lost to Vermillion twice, both by close margins (2-0 and 9-8). Their latest loss against Vermillion was an extra inning 9-8 loss. They came back from a 4-0 deficit and tied the game in the seventh inning to go to extras. Kodi Larson hit a home run in the loss. They are preparing for EPJ, Beresford and Dakota Valley this week.

Parkston manager Tim Alley is happy with their 4-1 start. Jacob Weber is 2-0 with one save and has not given up a run, 0 ERA!
The Sioux Falls Chargers are off to a 2-1 start. Senior Starting Pitcher Nick Stern is currently 2-1 with an ERA of 0.77 and has 27 strikeouts in 18.2 innings pitched with only 5 walks. His only loss to was 3-2 against Harrisburg and all 3 runs were unearned. Nick will get one more regular season start before the playoffs begin.
