North Dakota Championship Previews

Bismarck vs. Century Friday 6:30 pm

Bismarck

Coach Mark Gibson

"It was the best thing for these kids to be in a game like this, we were a different team in the second half and many of these kids haven't even played in the second half many of our later games.  Our kids showed character and fight which is always a good sign and they never panicked.

This week will be another tall challenge, Century has size and speed which is a pretty good quality to have in football.  Drew Wiseman is an elite player in the state and we will have our hands full if he gets loose.  Their ground game and defense is much improved from our first meeting and they have always had a tremendous kicking game."

Century

Coach Ron Wingenbach

"We cannot let them rush the ball the way they did the first time we played them.  We have to do a much better job of controlling the ball than we did in September and our offense has to score with them"

The Pick: Bismarck 31-17
