Local sports network Midco Sports Network welcomes two sportscasters to the team who will announce for the Network’s televised University of North Dakota games.

Football analyst Tony Stein is a native of Cogswell, ND. He played quarterback for the University and in 1999 was selected as a team captain and for Academic All-Conference.  Also that year, Stein set three UND single-season passing records for TDs, passing yards, and completion percentage helping lead UND to a North Central Conference (NCC) Championship. From 2001 – 2008, Stein was the color analyst for the “Fighting Sioux” Radio Network and Clear Channel Communications. Currently a Fargo resident, Stein is a Program Director for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM User Group (CRMUG).

Sideline reporter Danielle Luetzen is from Minot and is a communications student at UND with plans to graduate in December 2012.  A former UND volleyball player, Luetzen has been working for UND Athletics for three years, conducting interviews for online media as well as performing marketing duties for all sporting events. She is co-host of UND Sports, a weekly sports program produced by the University of North Dakota Marketing Group.

Stein and Luetzen join announcer Dan Hammer who was hired in July for play-by-play and as host of the UND Sports Extra Show.
