Midco Sports Network has announced that they will broadcast up to 15 live sporting matchups, plus up to 24 weekly special shows featuring the University of South Dakota athletic program for the 2012-13 season.
“We can’t be more excited to add these games to our regional sports schedule and to further our commitment to great local athletic programs through our relationship with Coyote Sports,” said Midcontinent Communications' Vice President of Business Solutions Mark Powell. “We know our fans down at the Dome and our viewers at home will be thrilled as well.”
In this multi-year agreement with Coyote Sports Properties and Learfield Sports, Midco Sports Network will also broadcast weekly shows featuring game analysis, interviews and reporting with several of the coaches of the University’s athletic program.
Coyote Sports General Manager Travis Lee said they relish the continued expansion of coverage of Coyote Athletics, along with the professional production capabilities of Midco Sports Network.
“Coyote Sports Properties and Learfield Sports are elated to join forces with Midco Sports Network to bring exciting Coyote football to the region this fall as well as other sports programming,” Lee said. “As the Coyotes enter the Missouri Valley Football Conference with Coach Joe Glenn at the helm, this is truly an exciting time for Coyote Nation as well as all area sports fans.”
The complete schedule of games will be available on or around August 1, Powell said.
