The Sioux Falls Storm is back home this Saturday night taking on the Nebraska Danger… we have it LIVE at seven o’clock on Midco Sports Network, AND streaming live right here on this very website.

Nebraska is 2-and-4. The Danger has a good quarterback in Rocky Hinds and some really good receivers from the Sunshine State in Corey Surrency (6-foot-6 from Florida State) and Kayne Farquharson (6-foot-3 from Miami). Nebraska averages 41 points per game, but the Danger D gives up 47. (Allen put 86 on them earlier this season.)

Speaking of whom… the Storm is 6-and-0 after the win over Terrell Owens and the Allen Wranglers last Saturday in Texas. Owens had five catches… two for TDs… and Allen led most of the game, but the Storm scored the last 14 points, went ahead with four and a half minutes to play, and won it 52-45.

Storm quarterback Chris Dixon is a little off his record pace from last year when he set the Sioux Falls all-time mark with 74 touchdown passes. Thru six games Dixon has 30 TDs and just four INTs. He also has 12 rushing TDs and the Storm continue to lead the IFL in scoring at just over 70 points per game.

Korey Williams has come on strong for Sioux Falls.  The wide receiver/running back/return guy from tiny Northwestern Oklahoma State ran a kickoff back for a score two weeks ago against Chicago… and then had a TD catch and a TD run against Allen this past Saturday. Williams has gone from a guy who might not make the team to a guy the team can’t do without.

Sioux Falls is also getting James “Touchdown” Terry back in the mix… he had a TD catch last week in his first game since being traded back to the Storm.

Williams and Terry and Clinton Solomon and Carl Sims and Lorenzo Brown give Chris Dixon a glove full of all-star wide outs to throw to right now. Expect about 85 points from the Storm this Saturday.

A couple of transactions of note… the Storm have released former Southwest Minnesota State wide receiver Blake Wilson and offensive lineman Big Daddy Anthony Thomas.
Sioux Falls signed an O-lineman, 6-foot-7 300-pound Jason Baksas who was cut by Chicago last week.
