Midco Sports Network to Broadcast SD Varsity Hockey Championship

Midco Sports Network (MidcoSN) has announced they will air two games of the South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association (SDAHA) Varsity State Tournament on March 11th.

“Midco Sports Network is pleased to provide SDAHA tournament coverage again this year,” said Midco Sports Network General Manager Barry Buetel.  “The overwhelming response we received from viewers after covering the tournament last year in Aberdeen made it an easy decision for us to once again present this great hockey event to fans throughout our coverage area.”

The games will be broadcast live from the Expo Center in Ft. Pierre, SD.  Midco SN will broadcast the third place game before the championship game.

SDAHA President Dan French said eight very competitive teams are going to be battling for the state title, including the defending champions, Oahe Capitals. “We are extremely excited about the Midco Sports Network live broadcasts of these games. Last year, fans from across the state and in North Dakota who weren’t able to attend were happy to be able to watch on Midco SN. It certainly got us a lot of notice and we appreciate the coverage.”
