If the playoffs started today... South Dakota

If the playoffs started today this is the scenario.

Class 11AA
Byes:
#1 SF Roosevelt (8-0)
#2 SF O'Gorman (7-1)
#3 SF Lincoln (6-2)
#4 SF Washington (6-2)
#12 Huron (3-5) at #5 Yankton (6-2)
#9 RC Central (3-5) at #8 Brookings (4-4)
#11 Aberdeen Central (2-6) at #5 Mitchell (6-2)
#10 RC Stevens (3-5) at #7 Brandon Valley (5-3)
As the Sioux Falls teams are playing each other in the final week, and Yankton has Brandon Valley at home, the 3-6 seeds could see some wild shuffling pending those results. Roosevelt and O'Gorman have established as the top level in this class, with Lincoln, Washington, Mitchell and Yankton the level just below those teams.
Class 11A
Sisseton (4-3) at Dell Rapids (6-1)
Milbank (4-3) at West Central (7-1)
Vermillion (3-5) at Dakota Valley (5-2)
Harrisburg (4-4) at Tea (4-3)
Cheyenne-Eagle Butte (3-4) at Todd County (8-0)
Chamberlain (1-6) at Little Wound (5-2)
Hot Springs (3-5) at Belle Fourche (5-2)
Pine Ridge (3-4) at Spearfish (4-4)
This field is pretty well set, and not much should change. However, we note that Dell Rapids and West Central, both in region 1, are the top two with respect to power points in this class. Spearfish could make some noise here, noting last week's shellacking of Belle Fourche.
Class 11B
Deuel (4-3) at Groton (7-0)
Mobridge-Pollock (4-4) at Britton-Hecla (4-4)
Garretson (4-3) at Tri-Valley (7-0)
McCook Central/Montrose (7-1) at Flandreau (6-1)
Wagner (4-3) at Winner (8-0)
Canton (3-4) at Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian (4-3)
Lead-Deadwood (3-4) at St. Thomas More (6-1)
Bennett County (3-4) at Custer (6-1)
The top of each region is the clear top level here. Could be an interesting semifinal if everything goes chalk from here. (STM at TV and Winner at Groton)
Class 9AA
Tri State (5-2) at Clark/Willow Lake (5-2)
Leola/Frederick (6-1) at Miller (5-2)
Elkton-Lake Benton (3-4) at Deubrook (5-2)
Great Plains Lutheran (4-3) at Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central (5-3)
Howard (3-4) at Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan (6-1)
Andes Central (5-2) at Kimball/White Lake (6-2)
DeSmet/Iroquois (3-4) at White River (5-2)
Newell (3-4) at Gettysburg/Hoven (4-3)
SIx teams in right now from region 2....Gregory, Stanley County, Parker, TDA all need to scramble to win the final week, along with some help to sneak in. Again, Bridgewater-Emery/Ethan is head and shoulders above everyone here in talent, but we've seen stranger things happen in the playoffs.
Class 9A
Warner (5-2) at Wilmot (6-1)
Eureka/Bowdle (4-3) at Herreid/Selby (5-2)
Mt. Vernon (3-4) at Canistota (7-0)
Hanson (5-3) at Colman-Egan (7-0)
South Central (4-3) at Corsica/Stickney (6-1)
Wolsey-Wessington (5-2) at Irene-Wakonda (7-0)
Chester (4-3) at Wall (7-0)
Lyman (5-2) at Faith (7-0)
Canistota is easily the team to beat in this class, but Wall, Colman-Egan, and Corsica/Stickney all have talented teams, and even Irene-Wakonda could make some noise.Timber Lake and Alcester-Hudson still have time to make the playoff field though.
Class 9B
Grant-Deuel (3-4) at Waverly-South Shore (7-0)
Castlewood (5-2) at Dell Rapids St. Mary (5-2)
Centerville (3-4) at Avon (7-1)
Estelline (3-4) at Viborg/Hurley (5-2)
Faulkton (3-4) at Sully Buttes (6-1)
Hitchcock-Tulare (3-4) at Langford (6-1)
Dupree (5-2) at Harding County (6-1)
Colome (5-2) at Jones County (5-2)
The most wide-open of the nine-man classes, with no fewer than eight squads that can make a legitimate case for inclusion in the final in Vermillion. A few others that could crash that party as well. Good thing this is a playoff, and not the BCS.
