Tommie Football to be streamed on Midco Sports Plus

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The University of St. Thomas football will have a new streaming home in 2023. On Monday, Director of Athletics Dr. Phil Esten announced the department will partner with Midco Sports to live stream all home football games through Midco Sports Plus and the Midco Sports Plus App as the Tommies look to defend their 2022 Pioneer Football League (PFL) Championship.

"We are very excited to extend our relationship with a trusted partner in Midco," commented Esten. "This streaming deal will not only provide national exposure for our football program, but will also provide continuity and a centralized St. Thomas athletics streaming platform to our fan base through Midco Sports Plus and the Midco Sports Plus app."

The Midco Sports Plus app will provide a digital streaming platform for regular season home St. Thomas football games. The subscription-based platform will also provide a centralized hub where Tommie fans can watch other events and games happening within the athletic department. Exclusive St. Thomas and PFL content, including replays, highlights, interviews, and special feature stories will also be available.

"St. Thomas football and I are both excited and grateful to have a streaming platform like Midco Sports Plus," said St. Thomas head football coach Glenn Caruso. "Midco produces high level content and will undoubtably provide a tremendous platform to showcase both our program and our student-athletes."

As a result of the partnership, games will no longer be streamed through St. Thomas' official athletics website, tommiesports.com. Instead, fans will need to subscribe to the Midco Sports App. Subscriptions cost $9.99 per month or $79.99 for an annual plan. The fee provides fans and alumni with the opportunity to watch the Tommies from a variety of devices through the Midco Sports Plus app, including phones, tablets, TVs, and web-based browser interference. Additionally, the app and its exclusive content will be available on AppleTV, Fire TV and Roku, allowing fans to sign in and watch through their account on multiple devices, and subscribers will have full access to the Summit League Network at no additional charge. Fans can subscribe at www.midcosportsplus.com.
